Follow-up:
Bithumb mistakenly sent 620,000 bitcoins to users. This equates to each user receiving 2,000 bitcoins.
However, the exchange only had 46,000 bitcoins in actual reserves.
They have recovered 99.7% of these. Of the 1,788 bitcoins received, users immediately sold them, but 93% were subsequently reclaimed by the platform.
This means that 125 bitcoins were still cashed out and the user absconded with the money.
