ETH's drop is a bit excessive! Just like my last wave, I opened a long position in ETH at 2700, kept adding to it with floating losses, then added more margin. The initial liquidation price was around 2200, then I added more to around 1800, and finally it hit around 1400. I thought it was safe now, that I wouldn't be liquidated. But holding onto floating losses is very psychologically damaging. When ETH dropped to around 2200, I couldn't take it anymore and stopped out. It then stubbornly dropped to around 2160 and rebounded sharply. I lost $60,000, stopping out at the lowest point. It eventually rose all the way to around 4900 USD. If I had held on, I would have made at least $300,000! A crash is the most psychologically damaging and easily triggers panic. I feel like Yi (the founder of ETH) is very panicked right now 🤣
