I finally decided to cut my losses on Aster today. I bought $120,000 worth, with an average cost of around 1, and lost nearly 50,000 USDT. I thought it was value investing when I bought it, but looking back, I was totally out of my mind. The monthly unlocking of 1%+ transaction mining puts pressure on the market. Looking back at the hot Meme and DEXs in October, even those with better fundamentals like Form and Cake still plummeted. Cake only has 700 million USDT, Form only 100 million, while Aster still has 1.7 billion. This proves that relying too much on one person's project and ignoring everything else is really not a viable strategy. And with Binance, you have to trust them initially, not blindly. A painful lesson learned. Last year it was Bome, this year it's Aster. Even though I felt I was being very cautious this year, I still got hurt. 😭😭😭
