In fact investment = a strategic reinforcement of Coinbase’s own x402 standard, the emerging backbone for autonomous, onchain machine payments.
While dozens of projects are “x402-aligned,” Kite was one of the first to implement it on-chain (July 2025), with agent identity, verifiable reputation, and micropayments baked in.
