I made nearly $1 million in profit in the first half of 2024 with the L2 wave, mostly from Blast and airdrop. In the second half of 2024, that profit was almost wiped out because the L2 theory changed. The token was practically worthless. Now that Vitalik has changed its theory, the value will be concentrated on L1 Ethereum. That will be a major shift. L2 now needs to have its own unique selling point to survive. It will survive by itself plus a little security from the original L1.
