ChainCatcher reported that according to CoinDesk, the second largest stablecoin issuer Circle will move its global headquarters to the iconic One World Trade Center in New York City, occupying one of the top floors of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the relocation is planned for Friday, and New York Mayor Eric Adams will attend. Circle said in the opening promotion: "This will not be an office, it will become a powerful gathering space."
Located on the site of the original World Trade Center, One World Trade Center, also known as the Freedom Tower, is currently the global headquarters of Condé Nast and home to companies such as MDC Partners, Reddit, Code & Theory and BounceX. Circle previously had its U.S. office in Boston and is currently planning to move its legal headquarters to the U.S. from Ireland.
