According to ChainCatcher, shortly after winning the "Best Content Creator" award, crypto KOL Professor Crypto has yet to publicly respond to allegations that he used robots to manipulate his social media metrics and influence. Chain detective ZachXBT accused him of using "thousands of robots" to "deceive people into thinking you are influential."
He also suggested the move could violate a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rule that "prohibits anyone from selling or buying false social media influence metrics, such as followers or views, generated by bots or hijacked accounts."
Professor Crypto has yet to publicly respond to the allegation, but has deleted several posts showing him receiving the “Best Content Creator” award at the DeGen Summit in Singapore on September 17.
