Banana Gun, a cryptocurrency trading bot operating on Telegram, is rumored to be hacking wallets linked to it.
Users are strongly advised to withdraw their funds immediately as a precaution until further notice.
Banana Gun Users at Risk
Banana Gun is a popular tool that automates cryptocurrency trading directly on Telegram, allowing users to execute trades quickly and with minimal effort. According to several community reports, wallets associated with this bot have been hacked in the past few hours.
“We are investigating the issue and the bot is currently offline,” the Banana Gun team said .
However, some sources suggest that the number of victims was limited, suggesting that the bot itself may not have been compromised.
“There are already 36 victims, and about 563 ETH stolen from the mainnet so far. The last hit happened an hour ago, but there are rumors that the theft started on SOL as well. I can’t say that Banana Gun itself was hacked, there aren’t enough victims,” one X user pointed out .
