According to Foresight News , the official YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of India, which is used to live broadcast litigation, was suspected to have been hacked on Friday and played cryptocurrency advertisements. The channel uploaded videos related to cryptocurrency products. Since then, the entire page has been deleted.
India’s Supreme Court has been using YouTube to livestream cases of constitutional importance to its audience, and the channel houses recordings of court proceedings. But archived videos are now private and no longer available to the public, and the homepage shows a blank video with a title that mentions cryptocurrency. Supreme Court officials did not respond to emails and phone calls seeking comment.
