Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, has just announced that it will list futures contracts for the altcoin Scroll (SCR).
According to the official announcement, Coinbase International Exchange will list the perpetual futures contract of Scroll (SCR-PERP) on both Coinbase International and Coinbase Advanced platforms. The market opening time for this contract is expected to be on or after 19:30 (Vietnam time) on October 22, 2024.
Scroll is a Layer 2 scaling solution on Ethereum, launched in early 2021. Using Zero-Knowledge Rollups (ZK-Rollups) technology, Scroll helps improve scalability, reduce transaction costs, and ensure privacy and decentralization. Notably, Scroll has developed zkEVM technology, ensuring full compatibility with Ethereum, which has attracted strong interest from the cryptocurrency community.
Before being listed on Coinbase, Scroll (SCR) has also been announced for listing by Binance - one of the leading exchanges in the world.
