Delphi Ventures founding partner: Beam Chain proposal is disappointing, Ethereum Foundation needs bigger dreams

Odaily Planet Daily Report: Delphi Ventures founding partner José Maria Macedo wrote in a post that after reading Ambient founder Doug Colkitt's post (note: Colkitt had previously predicted the content of Justin Drake's proposal from the Ethereum Foundation's core research institute), he was initially excited about the vision of ETH 3.0, but Justin Drake's actual proposal was disappointing, which is basically a refactored codebase that can achieve a block time of 4 seconds and quantum resistance, and these features will be realized in 2029-2030. These upgrades alone are not enough to make the Ethereum Layer1 competitive, nor are they enough to convince people that it is competitive. The Ethereum Foundation needs to have a bigger dream.
