Today, November 29, Binance, one of the largest Crypto exchanges in the world, has announced the delisting of 3 trading pairs on the Futures (Futures Contract) section. This is the latest move by Binance to adjust the trading pairs that no longer have the ability to attract enough user interest.
List of trading pairs to be delisted:
- XEM / USDT
- ORBS / USDT
- LOOM / USDT
Implementation time and related changes
Binance Futures has also announced that the exchange will proceed to close all positions and automatically settle the USDⓈ-M Futures Contracts of the 3 trading pairs above (XEM / USDT, ORBS / USDT, LOOM / USDT) starting at 16:00 on December 09, 2024 (Vietnam time).
Impacts on Arbitrage Strategies
At the same time, at this time, the Binance Funding Rate Arbitrage Bot will close all price difference (Arbitrage) strategies and automatically settle the related Futures Contracts. After the delisting, users will not be able to open new Arbitrage strategies for these trading pairs.
Warnings from Binance Futures
Binance Futures advises users to close all positions before 15:30 on December 09, 2024 (Vietnam time) to avoid the risk of automatic settlement causing loss of assets. After this time, users will no longer be able to open new positions for the Futures Contracts mentioned above.
Measures to Protect Users
To protect users and mitigate potential risks in the context of the highly volatile Crypto market, Binance Futures may apply additional protective measures to the mentioned Contracts without prior notice. These measures may include adjusting the maximum leverage value, position value, updating Funding Rate, etc.
Note: Users need to closely monitor announcements from Binance to be able to keep up with the latest changes and make reasonable trading decisions.
Thank you for following this information about the changes. Don't forget to check Binance's announcements regularly so you don't miss important updates on trading pairs and new features of the exchange!
