Spacecoin XYZ launches first satellite to protect blockchain network in outer space

Odaily reports that Spacecoin XYZ has launched its first satellite into orbit, marking the first step towards deploying a satellite constellation that will provide blockchain network protection in outer space. Spacecoin XYZ co-founder Daniel Bar stated in an interview that the first officially standardized satellite is an important milestone in bringing the "Spacecoin layer" into Earth's orbit. The satellite was part of the SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch that took place at 3:34 AM local time in California on December 21st. Bar said that the Spacecoin satellite will be the first of many to be launched in the coming months. Spacecoin plans to launch a "constellation" of 7 to 10 additional satellites by 2025, which will be sufficient to enable the Spacecoin to go live. (Cointelegraph)
