Project Introduction
Monad, developed by the Pyth and Solana teams for over two years, is a high-performance L1 public chain compatible with Ethereum. According to the official document, Monad defines itself as a high-performance L1 with EVM compatibility and PoS mechanism, aiming to create a new paradigm of public chain possibilities through the pipeline execution of Ethereum transactions. Its key innovations include MonadDB (a database designed specifically for Ethereum state access) and Optimistic parallel execution (ensuring high TPS with minimal overhead). Monad separates the consensus layer and the execution layer, further improving scalability and enabling developers to build applications requiring excellent performance and low latency.
On the evening of April 9, 2024, Monad Labs announced the completion of a $225 million financing round at a $3 billion valuation, led by Paradigm, with participation from Electric Capital, Greenoaks, and others. As the most prominent project in the Layer 1 track, Monad, which promotes the "Parallel EVM" concept, hopes to introduce a "parallel processing" execution layer scaling solution, while maintaining 100% compatibility with all EVM bytecodes, to significantly improve network execution efficiency.

Claim Testnet Tokens
Channel 1: Official Claim (Link: https://testnet.monad.xyz/). Enter your wallet address, complete the human verification, and click "Get Testnet MON" to claim, with a frequency of once every 12 hours.
Channel 2: Cross-chain from Sepolia Testnet to Monad (Link: https://testnet.orbiter.finance/en?src_chain=11155111&tgt_chain=10143&src_token=ETH). This method requires ETH assets on the Sepolia Testnet. Select Sepolia and Monad Sepolia, then click "Bridge".
Channel 3: Purchase on Mainnet (Link: https://www.memebridge.xyz/gas), select the ARB chain (OP chain), choose Monad as the target chain, and click Transfer.
Although there are various ways to claim testnet tokens in the community, the above three channels should be sufficient for daily interaction. After receiving the testnet tokens, we will now list the projects worth interacting with.
DeFi Projects Worth Participating
The principle for participating in DeFi projects is "interact with whichever one can be interacted with". Here are a few DeFi projects worth interacting with, choose according to your preference.
