According to The Block, the Filecoin ecosystem's liquid staking protocol Glif has announced the launch of its governance token GLF, and is currently in the process of airdropping 94 million tokens, which accounts for 9.4% of the total supply. Glif had previously planned to airdrop 100 million GLIF tokens, which would have been 10% of the total supply, but has adjusted the number based on participation, with the remaining tokens being returned to the community rewards pool for future distribution. Glif has also announced plans to establish the GLIF Foundation, a non-custodial entity that will represent the GLIF DAO and be managed by GLIF holders.
