According to CoinDesk from Foresight News, the crypto industry super PAC organization Fairshake invested $1.5 million in Republican candidates before the Florida special election to help maintain the party's slim majority in the House of Representatives.
Among this, Fairshake spent $1.2 million supporting state Senator Randy Fine to compete for the seat vacated by Trump's national security advisor Michael Waltz, and invested approximately $345,000 to support state Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis for the seat vacated by Matt Gaetz. Both candidates support digital assets.
Since there are currently four vacant seats in the House of Representatives, if the Democratic Party wins all the vacant seats, the Republican Party's advantage in the House will be reduced to just one vote.
