According to ChainCatcher, citing News.bitcoin, a study by Atmos reveals that the United Arab Emirates ranks first globally as a crypto-friendly country, scoring 98.4, slightly higher than Singapore in second place (97.5), with the United States ranking third with a score of 85.4.
The research indicates that the United States, ranked third, has 29,834 Bit ATMs, while the UAE has only one. Nevertheless, the UAE's 25.3% cryptocurrency ownership and 210% adoption rate are sufficient to secure its top position. Canada, with the second-highest number of Bit ATMs (3,561), ranks fourth with a total score of 72, thanks to its 10.1% cryptocurrency ownership and 225% adoption rate. In Turkey, cryptocurrency ownership ranks third at 19.3% due to economic uncertainty caused by currency depreciation. However, the country's low adoption rate and scarce Bit ATM count (7) result in a score of 67.8, making it the fifth most crypto-friendly country.
