Upbit, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea, has just announced the listing of Walrus (WAL).
The Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has just announced on its official website that they will list the trading pairs WAL/KRW, WAL/BTC, and WAL/USDT on the spot market around 5 PM on March 27, 2025 (Vietnam time).
Walrus is a decentralized data storage platform built on the Sui blockchain, allowing developers to store, retrieve, and manage large data files such as videos, images, and PDF documents.
Recently, Walrus raised $140 million through a private token sale, led by Standard Crypto and with the participation of investors such as a16z crypto, Electric Capital, and Franklin Templeton Digital Assets. The WAL token will also be listed on exchanges like Bybit, Bitget, Gate.io, KuCoin... on March 27, 2025.
