18 months ago, I was told by a few people I was crazy &amp; wrong to assert that China was using gold to manage the CNY.
Perhaps not so crazy after all…
Fast forward to today, virtually no one is considering how gold could be used to devalue USD v. CNY as part of a US/China deal.
