On January 3, 2009, the Bitcoin Genesis Block was created. Now, at the end of 2025, the price of Bitcoin has reached $100,000. Blockchain technology has developed rapidly globally over the past 16 years, and Taiwan has not lagged behind. Multiple tracks have emerged in the industry, forming the strength of the "Taiwan Blockchain Ecosystem." Thanks to AppWorks Accelerator , BlockCast, and Blocktempo for initiating this initiative in 2019, and for continuing to thrive despite numerous market challenges.

From 2019 to 2021, the "Taiwan Blockchain Ecosystem Map" documented the industry's development, the rise and fall of different sectors, and witnessed Taiwanese teams stepping onto the international stage. This legacy was passed on to the Bitcoin and Virtual Assets Development Association (hereinafter referred to as the Bitcoin Association) and its industry partners, who released the 2023 and 2024-2025 Taiwan Blockchain Industry Ecosystem Maps last year ( https://map.bcda.tw/ ).

As a leading non-profit organization advocating for Bitcoin policy in Taiwan and a major player in the cryptocurrency industry, our association anticipates significant changes in Taiwan and worldwide in 2025. In addition to stablecoins becoming a policy focus, the rise of Bitcoin national reserves, RWA, and Bitcoin corporate reserves (Digital Asset Treasury Companies, DAT) has profoundly impacted the existing operations of sovereign currencies, finance, and the crypto.

In light of this, based on the past three years' [2023-2025 Taiwan Blockchain Industry Key Report and Ecosystem Map], this association will update it according to the latest status of Taiwan's blockchain industry and produce the [2026-2027 Taiwan Blockchain Industry Ecosystem Map]. This questionnaire is an important starting point for the blockchain industry ecosystem map. It is hoped that through the questionnaire, the production team can better understand the new members building together in the blockchain industry, so as to understand the current status of the domestic industry. The independent Taiwan Blockchain Industry Ecosystem Map Committee will be commissioned to select and include it in the industry map, providing international and other industry professionals with a clear understanding of the latest ecosystem of Taiwan's blockchain field.

The association sincerely invites all entities within the industry ecosystem to complete this questionnaire to ensure that outstanding Taiwanese blockchain teams are included. If your organization meets the following qualifications, please click the link and complete the questionnaire as soon as possible. The evaluation criteria include, but are not limited to:
