🔍 Hacker đánh cắp $243M từ creditor Genesis “có thể đã bị bắt” - theo ZachXBT
Thám tử ZachXBT vừa cập nhật thông tin:
Một hacker người Anh - nghi liên quan đến vụ hack 243 triệu USD của một creditor Genesis trên Gemini – nhiều khả năng đã bị bắt tại Dubai.
Ngược dòng thời gian khoảng tháng 8/2024, 3 hacker đã đánh cắp 4,064 $BTC từ một creditor của Genesis thông qua Gemini.
Phương thức là giả danh Google Support, dụ nạn nhân reset 2FA, dùng phần mềm điều khiển từ xa → chiếm private key → “quét sạch ví”.
ZachXBT từng chỉ ra 3 nghi phạm chính: Greavys, Wiz, Box, sau đó được liên kết đến các danh tính đời thực.
Theo ZachXBT thì Danny/Meech (Danish Zulfiqar) người bị nghi là kẻ đứng sau vụ hack đã bị bắt và bị tịch thu tài sản crypto. Hiện cảnh sát Dubai hay các cơ quan UAE chưa ra thông báo.

🔍 Hacker who stole $243M from creditor Genesis “may have been caught” - according to ZachXBT
Detective ZachXBT just updated the information:
A British hacker suspected of being involved in the $243 million hack of a Genesis creditor on Gemini has reportedly been arrested in Dubai.
Going back in time around August 2024, 3 hackers stole 4,064 $BTC from a Genesis creditor via Gemini.
The method is to impersonate Google Support, trick the victim into resetting 2FA, use remote control software → take private key → "clean out wallet".
ZachXBT initially pointed out three main suspects: Greavys, Wiz, Box, which were then linked to real-life identities.
According to ZachXBT, Danny/Meech (Danish Zulfiqar), the suspected mastermind behind the hack, has been arrested and his crypto assets have been confiscated. Dubai police or UAE authorities have not yet made an announcement.
