There is only one real way to calm fears about AI:
Pay people. Give them a cut of AI revenue. Not commie UBI. Can be voluntary.
Any lab or think tank pushing regulations or anything other than DIRECTLY PAYING USERS A CUT OF AI REVENUE is larping with some other agenda.

No single AI complaint/fear is salient enough to enough people to form a durable political movement, so what is happening instead is that an omnicausal anti-AI sentiment is forming. “Kids and electricity and water and jobs and dontkilleveryoneist memes and also it hallucinates.”
