According to Foresight News , the Hong Kong Ethereum Community Hub, Asia's offline Ethereum community hub, will host an Ethereum industry gathering during Consensus 2026 from 13:30 to 18:00 on February 10th. This event, a side event of Consensus 2026, focuses on the integration of the local Hong Kong ecosystem with academia. Hsiao-Wei Wang, Co-Executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation, will attend and deliver a keynote speech on privacy and EVM innovation trends. During the event, Hong Kong Polytechnic University will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Ethereum Foundation to collaborate on Web3 research and talent development.
This agenda covers topics such as privacy evolution, the future of EVM, institutional-grade on-chain yields, enterprise-level blockchain application implementation, and Web3 infrastructure and DeFi scaling pathways. Representatives from projects including the Ethereum Foundation, SNZ Holding, Chainlink Labs, Nethermind, Lido, Base, and Ether.fi will participate and share their insights.
