The insight that AI applications have a star-shaped topology rather than a network is profound. However, many other judgments and expressions resemble the grandiloquent rhetoric common during the dot-com and blockchain bubble phases. The old world, the new world, privilege, the dead, immortality—these are all clichés of bubble rhetoric. Especially sensational and clearly illogical expressions like claiming a 100-fold increase in cognitive gap using advanced models should be avoided. Efficiency can be compared, but how do you measure cognition? How can you measure a 100-fold difference? If I had to say, I believe Kant's cognition was 100 times greater than mine; he didn't even have AI, not even a calculator.
