이더리움의 가스비 감소로 레이어 2 운영이 레이어 1 사용보다 비쌀 거란 판단 하에 네임체인을 백지화했다고 하네요.

현재 ENS 앱 및 익스플로러는 퍼블릭 알파 스테이지입니다.

확실히 예전보다 레이어 2를 배포하는 시도가 줄어들고 있네요. 레이어 2는 기존 웹3 팀들보다는 새로 온체인에 들어오는 기업을 위한 체인 솔루션이 될 것 같습니다.

ENSv2 will reportedly be deployed only on Ethereum.

The ENS team was originally preparing Namechain, Layer 2 of the ZK stack.

However, due to Ethereum's declining gas fees, they concluded that Layer 2 operations would be more expensive than Layer 1, and so they scrapped Namechain.

The ENS app and explorer are currently in public alpha.

There are certainly fewer attempts to deploy Layer 2 compared to the past. Layer 2 is likely to be a chain solution for new on-chain companies rather than existing Web3 teams.
