The latest generation of tokens is a mess. Not every project is a scam, but some teams pushed every limit. Look↓ @TroveMarkets – definitely a scam • Extended the token sale in the last minute while manipulating prediction markets. • Last-minute pivot from @HyperliquidX to @solana. • Refunded only $100K from the sale and kept $9.4M with a promise for upcoming product launches. @intodotspace – imo, a scam • Shifted their narrative from gaming to prediction markets with no explanation. • Moved $200K of presale funds to @binance before issuing refunds. • First token (UFO) already down 99%. @irys_xyz – cash extraction machine • Made their @Galxe tasks cost 3 G each (G = Galxe token), effectively collecting ~$2M in 2 months - only 10K/300K of those users received the airdrop. • Binance Alpha users received a big portion of the airdrop. • Failed to remove sybils, as one user farmed ~20% of the airdrop allocation with 900 wallets. @HeyElsaAI – airdrop robbery case • Promised full unlock at TGE, then added a 3-month cliff + 6-month vesting to their token. • Added a last-minute on-chain activity requirement for the airdrop. • Users received less in the airdrop compared to what they invested in farming it. + protocols that are not scams and have legit products but who focked up with their TGE / airdrops / expectations management ↓ @zama – unhappy community • Influencer bonuses ran during the auction without clear disclosure. • People bid thinking TVS was the valuation (it's not). • Public buyers down 40%, Binance sale buyers slightly up. @useTria – a huge disappointment for users • Communicated that the token would launch at $500M FDV - token launched at $130M FDV. • Rewarded Binance Alpha users instead of their early contributors. • Didn't reward card holders as they promised, and the card doesn't work in most countries. @rainbowdotme – poor TGE timing & airdrop management • The project had decent revenue ($10M) and funding ($23M), but the token dumped 60% in the first hour. • Didn't deliver promised rewards for Yappers. • Some users with points complained as they were ineligible for the airdrop. • Other users received a decent allocation for the current market conditions. @wardenprotocol – bad yapper rewards management • Yappers were promised 2.5% allocation, but received dust. Many weren't eligible. • Promised 100% unlock for Yappers in docs, then added vesting at the last minute. @cysic_xyz – hints of manipulation • Changed allocation to yappers in the last minute. • Airdropped the token to their mainnet, where there's no DEX option available. • On the bright side, the token is performing well. (no Binance listing) @infinex – a failed launch • All Patron NFT holders got 100K tokens with zero vesting and dumped instantly. • Initially planned to TGE at $1B valuation, but it's currently at ~$115M FDV • The product is legit and working.
