On September 19, the famous NFT artist FEWOCiOUS finally announced the casting details of its PFP project Fewos:

- Total quantity 2,0000 pieces
- Holders of FewoWorld Paint can get 1 free Fewos airdrop. If you hold more than 10 FewoWorld Paints, you can use "Flowers" to cast more for free after the airdrop ends. The specific number of additional pieces that can be cast for free after the airdrop ends is subject to the official calculator.
- Holding FEWOCiOUS artwork (including FewoWorld Paint) can be minted at a discounted price of 0.125 ETH, which will be adjusted based on the balance at the time. The ideal situation during the airdrop and free casting phase is that 1,4000 Fewos are airdropped/minted. When entering the discount casting phase, the discount price will be reduced by 5% for every 500 Fewos away from 14,000. For example, if only 1,3000 Fewos are airdropped/minted by the discount casting stage, then the discount price will be reduced by 10% accordingly.
- The public sale price is 0.4 ETH and has 3 stages, namely limited public sale on Nifty Gateway, Allowlist casting on FewoWorld official website and casting for all NFT players. The public sale price will also be adjusted based on the casting allowance, same as above.
Fewos’ story begins at 17 months.
In April 2022, FewoWorld Paint was released, FEWOCiOUS's first generative art project, featuring images of paint drops against a sky background. FewoWorld Paint was a limited-time, unlimited sale, and ultimately, a total of 30,198 copies were sold within 24 hours, with total sales approaching $20 million. Previously, he had not only cooperated with top projects like RTFKT, but he was also the youngest artist ever to enter the Christie's auction, and the first artist to crash the Christie's website because the auction was too popular. He released his first artwork on SuperRare in May 2020. In about 2 years, his total career sales have reached US$50 million, and he is only 20 years old now.
FewoWorld Paint is called the "cornerstone" of FewoWorld. FEWOCiOUS wants to create a metaverse that connects all his works. FewoWorld currently has two main parts, one is the soon-to-be-released Fewos, and the other is the FewoWorld Canvas. FewoWorld Canvas simply and crudely means that FEWOCiOUS invites people to paint offline, and the NFT version of the painting will be airdropped to participants of the offline painting party and the top 50 FewoWorld Paint holders.
Fewos is a 3D PFP series and a "resident" in FewoWorld. Judging from the trailer released in January this year, the art style is a psychedelic children's animation style.
Fewos is divided into three categories in terms of story and art settings: "Frankenstein", "Misunderstood" and "Humanoid":
In addition to artistry, another highlight of Fewos is that it adopts the ERC-6551 standard like Jeff Staple's Sapienz. In other words, the image of Fewos can be changed according to different clothes/pants/shoes and other accessories. Each Fewos is both an NFT and a wallet, and these accessory NFTs will be stored in Fewos NFT. When Fewos NFT is traded, the accessories will also be owned by the new holder.
Each Fewos NFT will be airdropped with 1 "flower", and each drop of FewoWorld Paint will also be airdropped with a "flower". The more FewoWorld Paints you hold, the higher the rarity of the "flowers" you will get, which means you will get rarer equippable accessories.
The artistic guarantee produced by FEWOCiOUS, as well as his experience in designing accessories in cooperation with RTFKT, bring endless possibilities to the ERC-6551 gameplay, which are the absolute highlights of this project. but...
3 months ago, FEWOCiOUS was mired in scandal. @windsandnstars accuses FEWOCiOUS of raping her and calling her mother a "stupid bitch" as she cried while she attempted suicide.
Although FEWOCiOUS tweeted on June 18 to deny the accusation from @windsandnstars, after this incident occurred, Adidas announced on its official Discord on June 21 that it would suspend cooperation with FEWOCiOUS. Originally, the two would jointly launch the Adidas Originals x FEWOCiOUS series, and NFT holders would be able to redeem the physical version of Adidas Originals Campus 00 sneakers for free.
This matter does not seem to be completely resolved... @windsandnstars stated on Twitter that "the dust has settled" on July 7, and posted another tweet on August 29 stating that "now there is hope for the future." FEWOCiOUS only said on July 8 that lawyers were taking steps to deal with it, and has never spoken about the matter since. So are the accusations true or false? How was the follow-up? None of us know.
Putting aside this scandal, Fewos has to face a bigger problem - the current PFP is really cold...
Due to the declining mechanism of casting prices, it is difficult for us to predict the situation when Fewos is released. If the "best case scenario" mentioned at the beginning of the article happens, there will be better expectations during the discounted price casting stage, and there will be less margin left for the public sale. Despite this, the public sale price of 0.4 ETH is still high. Considering that the initial sale plan of Nakamigos-CLOAKS - selling 0.05 ETH for 20,000 is generally not favored by everyone, 1,000 ETH can only support the sale of 2,500 Fewos under such circumstances.
However, this is FEWOCiOUS after all... If the discount casting price and public sale price are reduced by then, it is really hard to say what the sales situation will be. The decreasing mechanism of casting prices adds variables to the final sales situation, and Fewos has tried its best to reduce the pressure that may be faced during the public sale.
The current floor price of FewoWorld Paint on OpenSea is 0.23 ETH. According to the casting rules, that is to say, you only need 0.23 ETH to get one Fewos. Before reaching the floor price of 0.4 ETH, FewoWorld Paint had about 50 pending orders on OpenSea. If these pending orders were not digested before the snapshot took place at 1 am on September 26, Beijing time, the sale of Fewos may be more difficult.
