According to ChainCatcher, Donald Trump announced that his cryptocurrency project World Liberty Financial will be officially launched on September 16. He stated on the official X account that the project aims to "embrace the future of cryptocurrency" and "abandon outdated large banks."
CoinDesk previously reported on a white paper currently in the works, which stated that the project would be built on decentralized finance platform Aave and the Ethereum blockchain and would be centered around a “credit account system.”
