Odaily reported that Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart posted on social media that "if the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approves Canary's Litecoin ETF application, we will determine within a few weeks whether the application has a chance of being approved. (The SEC has not approved the recent Solana application, but we believe Litecoin may have a better chance.)"

Odaily reported that FOX Business reporter Eleanor Terrett wrote in a post on X that the Solana ETF also received participation from SEC staff, but the 19b-4 was later rejected. Indeed, that was a few weeks ago, when the SEC was still under the leadership of Gary Gensler, who will leave his post in 3 working days. It will be interesting to follow the status/timeline of the LTC, XRP and SOL ETFs.

Earlier today, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart said that Canary Capital has filed an S-1 amendment for its Litecoin ETF application, which, while not guaranteed, may indicate that the SEC is looking at the application. However, Canary Capital has not yet filed the 19b-4 document, which is a key step in initiating the approval/rejection process.

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated: "We've heard that the S-1 filing for the Litecoin ETF has received a response from the SEC, which seems to confirm our prediction that Litecoin is the most likely to be the next approved cryptocurrency ETF. That said, the new US SEC chair has not yet taken office, which is still a huge variable."
