According to Foresight News, Polygon announced on X the launch of the "Agglayer Breakout" initiative, aimed at supporting aggregation chain development and bringing value to POL stakers through token airdrops.
The first batch of selected projects includes: @PrivadoID (formerly Polygon ID), which has begun deploying privacy identity infrastructure, with an airdrop proportion of approximately 5%; @0xPolygonMiden, which is about to go online, with an expected airdrop of around 10%; an undisclosed DeFi chain with an airdrop proportion of about 15%; additionally, DePIN projects, proof networks, and other high-potential chains will join.
Polygon stated that this initiative will drive Agglayer and Polygon network activity, and enhance POL token utility through airdrops, network effects, and cross-chain applications. The first staking snapshot will be taken next week.
