Early Participant Airdrop Rewards: 16.317% of the total token supply, 163.17 million tokens, distributed to early MapleStory participants with no lock-up period;
Liquidity: 0.437% of the total token supply, 43.7 million tokens, used as initial liquidity for TGE;
IP Licensing: 2% of the total token supply, 20 million tokens, allocated to MapleStory IP licensors, locked for 9 months after TGE, then quarterly unlocked over 36 months;
Team: 0.696% of the total token supply, 69.6 million tokens, allocated to team members, locked for 9 months after TGE, then quarterly unlocked over 36 months;
Advisors: 0.4% of the total token supply, 40 million tokens, allocated to team advisors, locked for 12 months after TGE, then unlocked by game seasons.
On one hand, MapleStory's early airdrop rewards exceed 16% of the total token supply with no lock-up period. On the other hand, even users who did not participate in early testing should still pay attention, as the team has reserved up to 80% of tokens for token incentives across multiple seasons, with broad coverage and long duration, still offering numerous opportunities for new players and ecosystem contributors.
Additionally, MapleStory adopts a dual-token economic model, with NXPC (governance token) and NESO (game token), each serving different functions:
NXPC: In MapleStory Universe, NXPC serves not only as a governance token but also as a crucial bridge for NFT asset circulation. Players can exchange NXPC for NFTs and vice versa, enabling two-way asset flow. Moreover, NXPC's value is anchored by the overall utility of NFTs, and as usage scenarios expand and demand increases, the value of related NFTs will also rise. To incentivize ecosystem development, the project has designed a contribution reward mechanism where community members can regularly receive NXPC rewards by participating in building, creating a positive cycle;
NESO: NESO is the primary token within MapleStory Universe, widely used in various application scenarios and market trades. There is a clear exchange ratio between NXPC and NESO, ensuring transparent and predictable value conversion, providing stable economic expectations for players and developers. Developers can integrate NESO into applications for user incentives or provide premium content through in-app purchases (IAP), effectively enhancing user engagement and ecosystem interaction.
