There's three things you can do in difficult markets.
1. Pivot to other asset classes that are performing better.
2. Wait until conditions suit your trading style again.
3. Recognize what's not working and adjust your strategy.
The one thing you shouldn't do is die on the same hill because of your ego or some misguided sense of loyalty towards one asset.
Interestingly enough, I think option 2 is the worst of the three.
If you believe there is no opportunity than there genuinely won't be.
If all you do is wait and stop learning, I doubt you will be able to take advantage properly when markets shift back in your favor.
