This is a summary of data from three major prediction markets that I compiled a week ago, and it remains highly relevant today. From multiple perspectives, Opinion has firmly established itself as the third largest prediction market. Its trading volume, activity level, and growth rate are comparable to Polymarket and Kalshi. More importantly, Opinion boasts a large number of real users and a strong community. The project team invests heavily in community building, and user issues in X and DC are actively addressed and resolved. Chronologically, it's been less than four months since @opinionlabsxyz started its efforts, yet it has already become one of the most active projects in the BSC ecosystem. For a project led by Chinese developers to reach this position in such a short time is remarkable. Opinion is not just a single application; it's building a complete ecosystem. Currently, many dApps built on the Opinion ecosystem are being used in real-world prediction markets. The biggest problem for prediction markets has long been not demand, but liquidity. To address this, Opinion developed a unified liquidity infrastructure, Meta Pool. This not only solves Opinion's own problem but also the fragmentation of liquidity across the entire prediction market. It consolidates liquidity that was previously scattered across different platforms and markets, merging multiple prediction markets into a higher-level infrastructure. From this perspective, the $20 million funding round isn't exaggerated. I actually think it reflects the team's deliberate control over the pace, avoiding excessive selling pressure on VCs and preserving sufficient cash reserves to truly develop the infrastructure and ecosystem.
