meh yall just need to read LKYs books more in depth. he specifically says a few things
1. diff strokes for diff folks. sg did what it did bc of its environment and people. u cannot copy it exactly (duh)
2. sg stifled entrepreneurship bc of pop size. sg had a pop of 3m - what are the chances we have a zuck / elon popping up? he optimized for max utility and defined rewards instead of taking risks (also, as a consequence of our geopol position as well)
3. but he also emphasizes getting overseas education, plucking people from private sectors into public sectors, and paying them well all bc of sgs stature and inability to provide the same global experience
he actually predicted chinas rise bc of this. in 2008 he was talking about how china was getting global companies into china to learn - and at that time they only had their little cherry; but he said in 20 years they'd have their own lexus / automobile / luxury cars and now we have BYD Xiaomi lux cars taking over the world
anyways honestly the SF cabal should look toward another great global experiment - El Salvador's @nayibbukele
iirc (correct me if im wrong) hes a great lky fan and modeled alot of el salvadors latest endeavours based on it
