The 'problem' with this chart [why it is not popular] is that though it offers rational hope to Bitcoiners, it does not offer the hype that they've had a steady diet of for the past decades. This also reflects the way in which we are a post-truth/ scientific culture imo - anyone with a rational outlook would appreciate the empirical and realistic nature of the model [prediction and performance], but for most wishes, wants and desires crowd out a more sober reasoning.
