I remember discussing building an Agentic Wallet based on TEE technology with @OKXWallet_CN at their year-end dinner in late 2024. Unexpectedly, after more than a year of twists and turns, thanks to @openclaw's strong outreach, the long-held dream of equipping Agents with native wallets has finally taken a step forward! Frankly, this step can be seen as significant or minor. You could see it as just another way to generate wallets, another carrier for crypto assets, or even a PR stunt by a major company to capitalize on the AI hype. But you could also see it as the beginning of an "alternative infrastructure" built around the grand vision of "Agents replacing humans." In the crypto world, "Wallet" is a game-changer, a domino effect. As a blogger obsessed with the Agentic Economy narrative, I understand very well what the maturity of this Agentic Wallet infrastructure means for the industry. So, as soon as OKX launched Agentic Wallet, I tried it out, raised some minor user experience issues, and participated in a lot of extended thinking, trying to figure out how to add more trading functionality to the Agentic Wallet and make it more fun. My previous sharing of the combined use of OKX Agentic Wallet + Tavily web search + TradingAgent Skills + Polymarket CLI is a good example. With a wallet as a foundation, adding various skills is really fun and useful. x.com/tmel0211/status/20385560...… I think this is also what the OKX Plugin Store is supposed to do: to allow developers to contribute their wisdom to build more related skills, to allow everyone to share fun combinations of skills, and ultimately to make the funds stored in Agentic Wallet truly circulate. This is actually a very collaborative effort, a long-term project to build, and a key factor in determining whether Agentic Wallet can become the starting point for the next generation of AI infrastructure.
