Users can now explore the Ethereum blockchain ecosystem and activity in a different way with the release of Etherscan's new filter update. The new release, called “Advanced Filter,” allows users to refine blockchain searches using specific criteria.
“Advanced filters allow you to analyze multiple transaction types in one XEM. Filter by transaction type, function name, duration, amount, assets and word to address," the team's Twitter account said .
Etherscan provided an example of discovering transfers and internal transactions associated with a Multichain version 6 router over a seven-day period.
Advanced Filters users can also save filter searches for future reference. Over the past few years, companies and analytical tools, including platforms such as Defillama.com, Arkhamintelligence.com, Nansen.ai and Dune.com have gained popularity in the crypto community by providing on-chain details. Several on-chain users and investigators have praised Etherscan for the launch of its new Advanced Filter tool.
Etherscan emphasizes that the new release is beta and has a number of crackdown, including “token with no reputation, ignoring token listings, and failed transactions being displayed with no option to hide” and “From and To addresses are only joined by the OR operator”.
