Police arrested six people and one Internet celebrity
According to Ming Pao News Network , Hong Kong police arrested four men and two women in various districts on the 18th on suspicion of "conspiracy to defraud."
In addition, according to Hong Kong media , following the previous arrest of JPEX promotion celebrity Lin Zuo, the police arrested Chen Yi (formerly known as Chen Kaiyi), an internet celebrity suspected of operating a cryptocurrency exchange service.
According to sources, the police originally targeted another person in the entertainment industry, but were unable to arrest him because he was not in Hong Kong.

The amount involved has approached NT$4 billion
The police pointed out that as of 2 p.m. on the 18th, a total of 1,408 people had received reports on related incidents, involving a total amount of approximately HK$1 billion (approximately NT$4 billion).
As of the afternoon of the 15th, the amount involved was only about HK$34 million, and only 83 people reported the case.

JPEX issued an announcement on the evening of the 18th, once again emphasizing that it had communicated with the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission, but was treated unfairly. The Securities Regulatory Commission also specially sent a letter to all partners requesting to terminate the cooperative relationship with JPEX.
JPEX said it tried to contact the Securities and Futures Commission, which only responded that it had referred it to the police for investigation.
