According to Foresight News , Ethereum L2 Taiko announced that it has completed the Trailblazers Season 1 snapshot and started Season 2 (lasting from September 17 to December 16, 2024). It will provide 6 million TAIKO token rewards, of which 5 million are for participants and 1 million are for DApps.
The team will make some key changes to the XP system, including the removal of cross-chain points, adjusting the transaction points reward formula to increase XP incentives for higher transaction costs, and a maximum XP of 1,000 per transaction. Users can earn points in three categories: transactions, transaction value, and proposed blocks. Users will be able to migrate Season 1 badges to Season 2 badges, and more details on how this mechanism works will be announced after the mechanism is deployed. There will also be a progression system and filming tournaments that allow users to unlock the ability to cast additional Season 2 badges.
