WisdomTree has launched the WisdomTree Connect platform, which allows users to access tokenized real asset (RWA) investment funds from any wallet or blockchain network. Initially, the assets will be custodied by third parties, but users will receive a digital record of ownership. WisdomTree plans to expand this service to other platforms and self-custodial wallet users, in order to bridge the gap between traditional and decentralized finance. Currently, RWAs have a value of over $12 billion and represent a $30 trillion market opportunity.
