NEAR Foundation, has announced that the protocol now supports blockchain signatures, providing users with Multi-Chain access from their NEAR account.
According to a press release, the blockchain signature network is partially secured by Eigenlayer , which participates as a launch partner. Eigenlayer is a reStaking project built on Ethereum.
Illia Polosukhin, co-founder of NEAR said:

Developers can now build decentralized finance (DeFi) products using assets from other blockchains without connecting these assets, the press release added.
This offering is the latest step towards NEAR's “chain abstraction” initiative, which aims to solve the user experience of cryptocurrency by simplifying the barriers that exist in Multi-Chain environments.
NEAR 's native Token has been on the rise over the past few months, increasing approximately sevenfold since the beginning of October, including a doubling in a week earlier this month.
